Hi Ms Coelho,I am here to share what I had learnt about roots !
Roots hold the plant firmly to the ground . It also take in water and minarals for the plant to grow.They take in nutrients and minaral salts. -Most plants have roots that grow underground. There are three types of unerground roots:Fibrous ,Taproot and Adventious.
