More about roots

Hi everybody

I am Nicole and I would like to tell you more about roots!

* Through the roots, the plant is able to get their water supply which they need to grow.
* If the plants do not have roots they will fly around when it is raining.
* If you ask me a question like why does the plant fly arond? I will say that because roots hold the plant firmly to the ground.
* Every part of a plant has a job to do like example the flower where new seeds are made,green leaves make food,the stem supports the plant and the roots suck up water.

Facts about plants

*some green leavesturn red and gold in autumn before they die in winter.
*The rafflesia from south east asia is the biggest flower in the world.Flies visit it because of its rotten smell.
