All plants have roots.
Roots grips the plant to the soil.
It absorb water and minerals from the soil.
It also store food for the plant.
There are many different types of roots:
Some examples are the taproot, fibrous roots, elongated roots, underground roots and many more .
Water roots are roots living in the water.
Parasite roots stuck itself to another plant, sucking the nutrients from it.
