ROOTS
- The roots take in water and minerals from the soil.
- They also heip to hold the plant firmly to the ground.
- Food such as sugars and carbohydrates can be stored in the roots.
- Plants such as tapioca, radish, turnip, carrot and sweet potato have roots that can be eaten.
- There are also many diffrent types of roots e.g. Tap roots, Fibrous root, Storage root, Clasping root and Prop root.
