Area and Peremiter

Hi Miss Coelho,
I am here to share about what is the distance between area and perimeter.

Area
Area is length times breath.Area also means inside the figure.
If the area is made up of squares,we must count the number of squares.

Perimeter
As for Perimeter we must count the outside of the figure.
Exmple:If the figure is a square and each sides is 6cm, we must add up all the sides.
6+6+6+6=24

So perimeter means outside the figure.
