Area and Perimeter

Hi Miss Coelho,

I am going to tell you more about Area and Perimeter.


Area :

Area is the amount of surface a 2D shape covers. Area is the space inside of a figure. It is measured in square units.

We calculate it by multiplying the length by the breadth.



Perimeter :

Perimeter is the total distance around the outside of a 2D shape.

We calculate it by adding together all the sides of a shape.
