More Imformation About Plants

Today i am going to share more imformation about plants.One important thing about plant is
they have three stages of life cycles,Stage 1 is seed,stage 2 is young plant and 3 stage is adult plany which is fully grown.
Plant can be classified as:
1.flowering or non-flowering plants
2.land or water plants
3.poisonous or non-poisonous plants
Plant usually die from:
1.old age
2.lack of food or water
3.diseases
4.being eaten by predators
Plants Part:
1.Leaf
2.Stem
3.Roots

1.The Leaves,

Leaves an be classify by many types ,for examples shape,veins and edges.They are green in colour.Their job is to make food for the plant by using carbon dioxide,chlorophyll,light and water.The process of making food is known as photosynthesis.Carbon dioxide enters the leaves through tiny openings called stomata.The veins carry food made by the leaves to the stem

2.The Stem

The stem of the plant transports water and nutrients from the roots to the rest of the plants.It also transports manufactured food from the leaves to the rest of the plants.It also supports the branches and leaves,and spreads them out to get as much sunlight as possible.
Stem can be grouped as:
1.woody e.x. stem of hibiscus
2.non-woody e.x. stem of balsam
Some stems are adapted to store food which can also develop into new plants.

3.The Roots

Roots hold the plant firmly to the ground.Roots also take in water and nutrients from the soil.
