All about roots

Hello Ms Coelho and friends! :-)
I am here to tell you more about roots. Roots helps the plant to absorb water and mineral salt. Roots hold the plant firmly to the soil. Some roots are big and some roots are small.
In vascular plants, the root is the organ of a plant that typically lies b elow the surface of the soil. This is not always the case, however, since a root can also be growing above the ground or growing up above the ground or especially above water.
