I am going to tell you more about roots!

A true root system consists of a primary root and secondary roots (or lateral roots).

Roots hold trees or plants firmly to the ground.

Roots will generally grow in the direction where there is air, mineral nutrients and water to meet the plant's needs.

Roots will not grow in dry soil.
