Roots By John Paul

Roots hold the plant from fallng and also help to absorb the water. The roots hold the plant firmly to the ground. Some plants have strong roots and some plants have weak roots. For water plants, you can push them around easily becaues their roots are not on the ground.their roots just take in(absorb)water.Tunips, carrots and sweet potatos are roots too!Althou most plants have roots in the ground, some roots hang in the air! There is also a kind of root called breathing roots! They stick out of the ground! You can find them at mangroves!

Regards,
John Paul=)
