Roots

Hi, Ms Coelho I'm going to share with you more about roots.
ROOTS
  • The roots take in water and minerals from the soil.
  • They also heip to hold the plant firmly to the ground.
  • Food such as sugars and carbohydrates can be stored in the roots.
  • Plants such as tapioca, radish, turnip, carrot and sweet potato have roots that can be eaten.
  • There are also many diffrent types of roots e.g. Tap roots, Fibrous root, Storage root, Clasping root and Prop root.
